Edgewater Farm Park is a 38-acre farm located at the historic Hicks Crossroad, near the intersection of Beatties Ford Road and US 73 in Huntersville. This space will become the first Mecklenburg County property dedicated to the County’s Farmland Preservation Plan. Edgewater will develop into a unique hybrid space that provides agricultural resources and education as well as offers a public passive recreation space for residents. This historic farm holds an important place in the community and Mecklenburg County is working to ensure its legacy is preserved for years to come.​
