Join us as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of Huntersville Rosenwald School #2 and its important legacy in our community. Program to include:
- Show and Share school memorabilia roundtable discussions presented by Torrence-Lytle Alumni Association
- Historic Bookmarks book club panel discussion of Andrew Feiler’s Rosenwald history, A Better Life for Their Children, featuring alumni from the century-old Huntersville Rosenwald School #2.
- Unveiling of a historic marker for Huntersville Rosenwald School #2

Join us as we celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the historic Huntersville Rosenwald School #2 and spread awareness of its important legacy in our community. Historic Landmarks Department, along with Torrence-Lytle High School Alumni Association, Pottstown Heritage Group, North Mecklenburg Communities United, Mecklenburg County, Town of Huntersville, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library - North County Regional have partnered to bring you this exciting event. Alumni from Torrence-Lytle High School will share their memories and memorabilia from school days at both the Little School and the high school. The Historic Bookmarks Book Club will discuss Andrew Feiler's Rosenwald history, A Better Life for Their Children. There will also be a historic marker unveiling at the Rosenwald School. The festivities are from 1pm-4pm.
